Is Clothoid length defined in planview or as 3D curve

  1. The length attribute of a clothoid should be described as arc length of the clothoid
  2. It needs to be defined if the length is defined as length of arc length as curve in 3d space or wihtin 2D planview projection (the image on coordinate systems indicates that trajectory definitions are interpreted as 3d curves)
