Extended Description
After the introduction of NURBS curves in OpenSCENARIO 1.0, it may be evaluated if parametrized NURBS curves may be used to convert high-level maneuver descriptions into mathematically exact trajectories.
Examples for high-level maneuver descriptions are e.g. "lane change", "u turn", "turn left", "turn right" etc. If these maneuvers were properly defined by a set of parameters (e.g. start/end point in lane coordinates, velocity at these points, max curvature,...), corresponding NURBS curves may be constructed from the abstract definitions.
This would be a major step in the transformation of high-level scenario descriptions into mathematically exact trajectories.
