Feature development for ASAM OpenMATERIAL 3D 1.1
Detailed background
Not all relevant features could be implemented during the ASAM OpenMATERIAL 1.0 standardization project. This proposal serves to implement important topics that could not be completed within Release 1.0:

Backward compatibility
Feature shall be defined as backward compatible as possible, for inclusion in minor releases of the affected standards. Where breaking changes are deemed necessary for the medium term, such proposals shall be developed separately, for future inclusion in major revisions.
Completion criteria / deliverables
All related issues have a defined solution harmonized across standards as PRs ready for integration.
