Clarification on teleportation to positions in junctions

From the user guide/UML is not not clear how to handle teleportation to positions in junctions. It might happen that the driving direction cannot be deduced in a unique way if the position is specified in world coordinates.

If an entity is added/teleported to a position using world coordinates and the underlying road is not unique (e.g. xyz is located on a junction where several connecting roads would be a valid road containing the xyz position), what is the expected driving direction? Is it mandatory to execute an additional RoutingAction? Please clarify in detail what happens to previously applied RoutingActions, remain they still valid after teleportation?
