Ability for platform independent scenarios
Describe the feature
As a first step in the safety evaluation development process functional and logical scenarios are described without a specifically defined test platform (field, proving ground, simulation). If not a second format needs to be used for these, which then needs to be transformed to OSC for the simulation platform, OSC needs to be able to describe these. The difference is that they are missing simulation models and concrete (world) positions/roads, but are described in an abstract way (e.g. road with 2 lanes, curvature, pedestrian of type adult). The problem with simulation models is that they are not needed for field and proving ground tests. The problem with concrete world positions is that the scenarios are then not exchangeable anymore.
Describe the solution you would like
Extend / change the way in which scenarios are described for abstract descriptions independent of simulation artifacts.
Describe alternatives you have considered
Keep everything as it is, but then have two different scenario formats, which need to be mapped.
Describe the backwards compatibility
Depends on how changes are implemented.
