Scope of OSC2 with respect to Entities and their properties
Goal: define the scope of OSC2 with respect to what type of entities and entity properties should be codified in the language spec
- This is a philosophical goal, but we should try to work out the details through examples, as far as possible
Potential tasks:
- Task 1.1: Propose general principle(s) to decide what is IN scope vs. OUT of scope
- E.g. only codify attributes that affect how an entity moves, because this is the key differentiator for entity behavior at scenario description level
- Task 1.2: Use a vehicle as an example to show how to apply the principle(s) above
- List properties of a vehicle (e.g. passenger car) that might be relevant for scenario / simulation / etc.
- Explain which properties:
-
- Shall be codified in OSC2
-
- Shall NOT be codified in OSC2
-
- "We are not sure"
-
- Explain which properties:
- List properties of a vehicle (e.g. passenger car) that might be relevant for scenario / simulation / etc.
==> Use the list of properties from DM proposal as starting point: vehicleSetsProposal.xlsx. Add your own properties as needed
